First things first: our winner from last week is Bookshelf Battle. Congratulations! Please send your snail mail address to katrina (at) stonoff (dot) com, and I’ll put The Light Between Oceans in the mail for you.

For next week…well, it’s been one heck of a week. I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted. And I could really use a break from the fear and uncertainty and ugliness around us.
So I’m giving away a copy of Shel Silverstein’s A Light in the Attic. Like his first book, Where the Sidewalk Ends, this is a delightful mix of line drawings and quirky poetry (often humorous), perfect for children or anyone whose inner child hasn’t been smothered yet.
I should note this is the 2005 edition, not the 2009 one with twelve additional poems. But it’s a hardcover in great condition.
If you’d like A Light in the Attic, just comment below by midnight Sunday. Next Monday, I’ll draw a name from one of my hats.
Good luck! Stay safe out there. And turn off the news now and then.
